General

Do you support OSX Lion (10.7)?

All of our products are up to date and are compatible with Apple's OSX Lion.

A couple things to note:

  • - In 10.6 Apple has changed the way that they have handled contextual Menus. We are working to re-implement this time saving feature and will include it in a future release.
  • - AMR Narrowband is not available in 10.6 and greater. We are looking in to why this support was dropped and hope to provide this codec again in the future. If you need AMR Narrowband support, you can run our products on OSX 10.5.

Do you support OSX Snow Leopard (10.6)?

All current versions of our products are supported under OSX Snow Leopard. The one change to note is that in 10.6 Apple has changed the way that they have handled contextual Menus. We are working to re-implement this time saving feature and will include it in a future release.

What happened to AMR support?

If you ran any of our products under OSX Lion you may have noticed that the AMR codec is no longer working. Due to changes in OSX 10.7, AMR Narrowband is no longer available. We regret this inconvenience and will continue to pursue support of this codec in our products. If you need to convert to AMR, we recommend that you continue running under Snow Leopard (10.6)

Where is the Library folder in OSX Lion (10.7)?

With all new operating system updates, we are bound to find incredible new capabilities and surprises. Once of those surprises is that the Library folder is no longer visible in a user's Home folder. There are times we may ask for your log file outside of our powerful User Feedback System, and you will need to gain access to this folder. To access the folder, hold down the OPTION key and click on the "Go" menu while in the Finder. You will see the Library folder appear in the list. Click on Library and you will now have access to the folder.

I cannot activate--what do I do?

Each purchase includes one license to be activated on a single machine. If you had a hardware repair (e.g. Hard drive or motherboard replacement) or no longer have access to the license machine, contact customer service and we will reset your activation. Once the activation is reset, you can activate on the new machine.

If you have access to the licensed machine, choose deactivate from the Application Menu. Wait, 1-15 minutes and then go to the desired machine and enter the activation inforamtion.

Important: After deactivating, you may not be able to activate for up to 30 minutes. This is due to the need for all servers to note the deactivation. We recommend waiting at least 5 minutes before trying to activate.

To avoid this is the future, be sure to de-activate your license by choosing the deactivation option under the products application menu.

Are there limits in demo mode?

Our products will run in demo mode for 15 days from date of first launch. During this time, you can experience all of the powerful features of the application. The only limitation is that the first half of all processed files will be the expected audio, but the second half will contain silence. A license can be purchased at anytime by choosing the "Buy" option from the application menu or splash screen. Once activated all restrictions will be lifted. At the end of the 15 day demo, the application will no longer operate until purchased and activated.
